The illegal and anti-social use of off-road bikes, e-bikes and quad bikes can have a significant impact on our communities. These vehicles are often ridden dangerously on roads, footpaths, parks and open spaces, putting pedestrians, cyclists and other road users at risk. Operation Hurricane is Greater Manchester Police's dedicated operation to tackle this issue across Greater Manchester. Officers from neighbourhood teams work alongside specialist units, including roads policing, drones and air support, to identify offenders, seize vehicles and disrupt anti-social behaviour. You can help by reporting incidents when they happen. Please try to provide: 📍 Exact location Every report helps build intelligence, identify hotspots and direct patrols to the areas where they are needed most. GMP has seized hundreds of bikes through Operation Hurricane, demonstrating that community information leads to action. 📞 Report via 101 or online at GMP's website. If there is an immediate danger to the public or a crime is in progress, call 999. ✅ Report it
